The SEC Strategic Sandbox is a safe testing ground where new financial apps can operate with real users while government regulators watch closely to make sure everything works properly and your money stays protected.
Since there isn't an existing license category for US stock investing platforms in the Philippines yet, the sandbox allows us to test this innovative service while regulators develop the proper framework, with the goal of eventually receiving full regulatory approval to operate permanently.

User funds are securely held at Union Bank of the Philippines (Union Bank), one of the Philippines’ most trusted banks with over 40 years of proven banking experience.

Through the Strategic Sandbox program, Flow is under the direct supervision and guidance of the Philippines Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The SEC is the government agency responsible for regulating the financial service industry, overseeing capital markets, and protecting investors in the Philippines.

Flow works with Atomic Vaults LLC, a licensed broker in the United States. Atomic Vaults operates in accordance with the regulations of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and is a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
All USD funds are stored in a US-based custodian bank with a AA- Fitch Rating, BMO Harris.
